Terms and condition for merchant
Introduction
These Merchant Terms of Use govern the relationship between vendors and Jahazi.store ('Jahazi'). By registering, vendors agree to comply with these terms and all applicable laws.
Vendor Registration & KYC/KYB
Vendors must complete mandatory KYC/KYB verification, submitting accurate business registration, identification, and address documents. Jahazi reserves the right to accept or reject applications.
Vendor Obligations
Vendors must: Provide truthful product descriptions, comply with laws, fulfill orders promptly, pay applicable taxes, and adhere to Jahazi's policies.
Prohibited Products
Vendors are strictly prohibited from listing illegal goods, counterfeit items, weapons, hazardous materials, gambling products, adult content, or any other high-risk items.
Fees & Commissions
A 1% commission per sale applies. Fees are deducted automatically from sales proceeds and cover payment processing costs.
Shipping & Fulfillment
Vendors may choose self-fulfillment or Jahazi-managed fulfillment services. Vendors must meet delivery commitments and provide accurate shipping details.
Taxes and Compliance
Vendors are solely responsible for complying with local VAT, customs duties, and legal regulations.
Intellectual Property
Vendors must have rights to the products listed. Infringement of third-party intellectual property rights is prohibited.
Data Protection
Vendors must comply with GDPR and data protection laws, ensuring the security of customer data.
Liability & Indemnity
Jahazi is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Vendors indemnify Jahazi against claims arising from their actions.
Dispute Resolution
This agreement is governed by Tanzanian law. Disputes will be resolved via arbitration or Tanzanian courts.
Force Majeure
Vendors are encouraged to maintain insurance coverage to mitigate force majeure risks.
Amendments
Jahazi reserves the right to amend these terms. Vendors will be notified of significant updates.
